A stunning early Victorian ( possibly georgian) seed pearl clasp mourning hair bracelet
We have been fortunate to buy a pair of these which would have been made for two children to mourn for their late mother/father.

Made from plaited human hair in five strings with a rose gold clasp which has more hair and adorned with natural seed pearls
Amazing quality and would be great to know the history behind it.
Over 170 years old
This is a must for any mourning or antique jewellery collector or someone interested in historic jewellery.
Condition:
In amazing condition for its age, the clasp has a short trigger which could have possibly been larger at some point although it works perfectly so not an issue
Hair has not frayed like some mourning jewellery

9ct rose Gold
Human hair
Natural seed pearls
Total weight= 3.4 grams
Size:
180mm ( 7 inches)
