A stunning quality WW1 9ct solid rose gold double albert watch chain
This is a beautiful piece dating to 1917 and assayed in Birmingham so could have been a gift for a soldier returning from the war.
Markers mark "J.M" which corresponds with the dog clasp, T-bar and chain ( all original)
Lovely graduated size links
Both clasps are strong and well sprung
can be worn as a necklace or used as a watch chain as original intended. ( very popular as ladies or gents unisex necklaces today expecially when they are longer like this on is)
Marked for 9ct gold on every single link!
There is a small section of free hanging chain by the T-bar which can be used to suspend a pendant/locket or fob.
Condition:
Amazing condition, no damage and not worn much like many are, it has clear marks and stamps
Ultrasonically cleaned and professionally polished.
