About:
An impressive hand painted enamel portrait ring
Possibly depicting King George II ( died in 1760) although due to wear it is hard to make a certain presumption.
Circa 1750s
Made from an 18ct gold front and a 9ct pale gold unmarked shank and frame ( tested)
Blue enamel frame with white enamel dots at each of the four cardinal points
Hand tooled shoulders

 

Condition:
Lovely ccondition considering age
shank has one resize mark
Portrait has lots of wear so has faded/lost definition, however please consider this is over 260 years old 
Some lead solder to the underside where the shank joins the head.
Enamel sides have some marks/wear but very good for its age.
Materials:
18ct and 9ct gold ( tested)
Hand painted Enamel
Weight= 2.55 grams
Size:
UK ring size=  N
EU ring size= 54
USA ring size=  6.75

Most rings can be made larger or smaller by your local goldsmith or jewellers.
