A very rare and exceptional quality 14ct purity gold (possibly Russian) watch key/winder
Sighthound motif ( could be a Chortai which is a Russian breed of sighthound which was a popular breed during the mid 19th century when it was seen as fashionable and a wealth status)
This piece and would make an amazing dainty pendant or charm/fob
The workmanship is stunning and has been made by a very skilled goldsmith, would be great to find out more about it! Workmanship is on par with faberge pieces.
The dog is sitting on a seed/acorn looking item.
Circa 1850s, would have originally been worn on a ladies Albertina chain to wind her pocket watch
Overall- an amazing piece and you will not find another

Fantastic and perfect condition with no damage
Ultrasonically cleaned
Materials:
14ct purity gold ( not marked but professionally tested as such)
Steel square tube inside to fit the watch pin.
