About:
Very attractive early to mid Victorian 18ct gold turquoise band ring.
This is a very pretty piece and the gold has the most beautiful high carat patina/lustre.
The contrast with the turquoise against the gold really get the ring noticed, especially with the configuration being rather unusual as you don't often see a cross shape on a ring.
The turquoise are all believed to be the original stones, there is some colour differentiation, normally due to perfume etc.

Max width is  8.8mm wide at the front

The ring has its maker mark "I & I" and the "18c" stamp which shows its age as older pieces aren't usually stamped "ct" just "c" instead
Professionally xrf tested to ensure its purity throughout.
The ring is circa 1850-1880.
These rings are very hard to find and always appreciating in value.
