For sale is a fantastic authentic Art Deco diamond sapphire ring.
It is a very desirable and attractive ring and always appreciating in value as these types of ring become more scarce over time as collectors add to their portfolio.
It is not marked but test as 18ct yellow gold with a platinum front.
Old cut natural diamonds in a millgrain bezel setting.
The small sapphires are square cut channel set and the main sapphire is an oval bezel set.
The larger diamond are of good colour match and have large/tall crowns.
The smaller Diamond may need a gentle clean from behind as some are slightly darker.
All the stones are well and securely set.
The ring shank is quite thin but will be fine for occasional wear which is what the ring is for anyway as this is certainly not an 'everyday use, casual' ring!
Condition:
It has a couple of size repair marks on the shank and also a file/wear mark to one of the shoulders.
Ultrasonically cleaned and professionally re-polished.

Approximate diamond weight= 1.35ct
Approximate sapphire weight=1.3ct ( sapphires are heavier than diamonds so the carat weight of a sapphire is more than a diamond of the same measurements)
Made from solid 18ct yellow gold
(marked and tested as such)
