A very attractive Rolex 1603 Oyster Perpetual Datejust, this iconic timepiece exemplifies a design that has remained popular since its debut in 1945. With its recognisable and timeless style, it’s an ideal wristwatch for a small to medium-sized gent’s or lady’s wrist.
With:
- Original Rolex box, swing tags, booklet, papers and fact sheets (complete full set)
- Silver dial with pie pan outer chamfer and date function
- Fluted bezel
- Rolex acrylic plexiglass
- Folded steel jubilee bracelet on 18 links (would fit up to a 6 + 1/2 inch wrist) with original '55' end links
- Original Rolex Swiss made automatic movement with manual wind
- Watch register checked ✔️
- 12 month mechanical warranty provided by ourselves
Condition:
Excellent overall condition with general light wear to the case and bracelet. A few links have been removed and possibly repinned, with minimal stretch. The clasp is strong, and the Rolex crown on the buckle remains sharp.
The watch keeps great time and the date changes smoothly. As an early ‘slow set date’ model, the date is adjusted by manually winding the hands. Best kept on a winder if not worn daily.
Purchase Date: 1976
Model reference: 1603
Case width/size: 36mm
An impressive watch that would complement any watch collection.
