This is a beautiful mourning piece from the late victorian era.
Made from 'back and front' 9ct rose gold and is fitted on a solid 9ct rose gold faceted victorian belcher chain.
This locket is a good size ans weight, the reverse is hand tooled floral work with a vacant cartouche.
The front is set with a black enamel garter belt
There is a second cartouche, also unengraved with is rare to see!
The chain has its original bolt ring fastener, the links are very pretty with their light faceted edges.
Complete with all the original inners to the locket!
Condition:
Very good for its age, one tiny mark to the enamel if you look very closely.
Ultrasonically cleaned and professionally polished.
