Made from solid silver through and in amazing condition
Every link has a feature ball link which looks very impressive when worn as they create a fan effect.
A very pretty necklace which is such a classy piece. These look good on all ages of wearer.
A classy piece of jewellery dating to circa 1870-1890.
these chains are very pretty if worn for solo wear but with a locket attached they are even better in out opinion
Fitted with the original antique oversize bolt ring clasp which is very strong and easy to use
The locket has a hand engraved swalllow motif on the front and a shield with vacant cartouche at the back
The inside has a mourning motif with encapsulated hair set on a postage stamp and and a photo of a victorian lady it would have belonged to.
Condition:
Amazing condition and no damage so really an amazing find to see a 140 + year old piece of jewellery that has been cherished so well
Ultrasonically cleaned and lightly polished
Materials:
Not marked but tested as solid silver throughout
Total weight= 36 grams
Size:
Brilliant length as its not really short like many others.
Length= 18 inches ( 45cm)
Link width= 8.1mm wide
Locket= 45mm tall including the bail and 32 x 25mm in size for the locket itself.
