A beautiful pair of vintage synthetic alexandrite/conundrum dropper earrings.
These are well constructed and have been hand made ( most likely from a foreign country due to the style and gold purity being 14ct)
The stones are known as 'alexandrite' and will almost certainly be synthetic due to the value of real alexandrite. This stone changes from a greeny blue to a pinky purple in different light sources.
The fastening is a gold ear wire which also has a safety hook to stop it falling out of the ear lobe.
Condition:
Very good condition for their age ( circa 1970s)
Some light usage marks if looking closely but utrasonically cleaned and polished.
Materials:
Solid 14ct gold, not marked but professionally tested as such as most foreign jewellery is hand made to order.
Total weight= 3.45 grams

Diameter= 40 mm length x 11mm wide
